“Resistance is one of the central subjects I have been focusing on. So I have somehow an interest on resistance, there is an interest in analysis and critique of the existing system and there is an interest in the alternatives to the existing. And this three main focuses continuously combine and connect within my artistic practice over the last ten years.

*Oliver Ressler, is an artist and filmmaker who produces installations, projects in the public space, and films on issues such as economics, democracy, global warming, forms of resistance and social alternatives. Over the years, he collaborated with the artists Zanny Begg (Sydney), Ines Doujak (Vienna), Martin Krenn (Vienna), Gregory Sholette (New York), David Thorne (Los Angeles) and the political scientist Dario Azzellini (Caracas/Berlin).
